Do you need some special program for your station?
In 1983 and again in 1985 I taught a three-credit course in radio journalism at Keene (NH) State College, Keene State is part of the U of NH system.
From 1976 to 1985 I was News Director at stations WSCV-AM and WSLE-FM in Peterborough, NH. When I was first hired the stations were all news and a part of the NBC network.
For nine years I produced, wrote, and voiced five news programs every weekday: all original material...never any "rip-n-read"...over 1,500 newscast in all. I can do this stuff in my sleep. Deadlines are my friend.
A dozen-or-so of my stories have been broadcast on the National Public Radio program called All Things Considered. I got this letter (click) after my first submission of many to All Things Considered.
I have also done stories for Public Stations WBUR-FM in Boston and WEVO-FM in Concord, NH. |
In 1983 I produced a half-hour radio comedy entitled "The Selectmen" which was produced and broadcast locally over the Peterborough stations.
At the start of the year 2000 I wrote and voiced a series of two minute spots for the NH Historical Society which were broadcast statewide over Public Radio. (click)

The pieces for the Historical Society were similar to a series I did for the Peterborough Savings Bank in 1983. These were entitled Historical Moments. I wrote and produced one each week day for a hundred days. The bank also gave copies of the program on tape or vinyl (this is the old days, remember) to anyone who opened an account with them.
